I'm amazed at the similarity between ancient looking fish like the armored catfish portrayed here and the sleek, modern airplane, the F-117 Stealth fighter. Form following function, and the ancient/modern duality of design. Biologists have noticed a pattern that happens in evolution where different organisms with similar lifestyles evolve into similar or convergent body shapes.
